Fadime Baltacıoğlu took her first lessons at a very early age from her father Ord. Prof. Ismayıl Hakkı Baltacıoğlu who was an aesthete and pedagogist. In 1962 The National Education Ministery wanted to send the painter to Paris for four years of study, within a program for specially talented children. However her father Baltacıoğlu was of the opinion that it was possible to give her the necessary private academic education by valuable Turkish painters. Therefore Baltacıoğlu decided together with Prof. Celal Erseven and his former students from the National Fine Arts Faculty Zeki Faik Izer, Hikmet Onat and Sabri Fettah that the painter would benefit from the private education of Mahmut Cuda instead of formal education by the faculty. In this respect the painter was educated by Mahmut Cuda for four years. Beginning with her first exhibition in 1963, the painter opened 23 private exhibitions.
